VENUE: Gateway Theater Fort Lauderdale

Do you like Huey Lewis and The News? Before Christian Bale was the savior of Gotham (remember BATMAN?), he was the chainsaw-wielding, business card-slinging scourge of Manhattan. Dare to descend into madness where wealth, power, and psychosis collide in a bloodstained crescendo of American excess and violence! You might laugh. You might cringe. But one thing’s for sure—you’ll never listen to Huey Lewis and the News the same way again.

Caught during the height of American Yuppieism in the late ’80s, Patrick Bateman finds himself surrounded by friends who he hates and a culture he can’t stand. Can anyone blame him for allowing his nightly bloodlust to overflow into the day? A charming investment banker, Bateman is also a ruthless serial killer, navigating the neon-lit streets of Manhattan with a chillingly vacant smile and an insatiable hunger for violence. Is he a savage killer hiding in plain sight, or just another deluded narcissist lost in the soulless abyss of yuppie culture?
