An American Werewolf in London

VENUE: Gateway Theater Fort Lauderdale

Get ready to howl, scream, and laugh your head off with the full moon frenzy of AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON for its 45th anniversary! If you only see one horror movie in your lifetime, this is it!

When two American backpackers are attacked on the Yorkshire Moors, only David (David Naughton) survives… but not unchanged. Haunted by his increasingly decayed best friend (Griffin Dunne) and drawn into a surreal romance with a London nurse, David begins a terrifying transformation that will unleash carnage on the streets of London. What follows is a delirious collision of pitch-black comedy, shocking brutality, and pure cinematic brilliance, driven by one of the most iconic directors of the 1980s and featuring unbelievable Academy Award-winning effects from Rick Baker (STAR WARS, VIDEODROME). This is crowd-slaying, revisionist 1980s horror that does everything right.

Equal parts hilarious, horrifying, and heartbreakingly strange, this is a landmark horror-comedy that demands to be experienced with a crowd ready to lose it. One night, one screening, one full moon—don’t just watch it… survive it.
