Before there was Jack Burton. Before there was Wyatt Earp. Before there was Santa Claus with a flamethrower beard, there was SNAKE PLISSKEN. And Snake Plissken is BACK!

Kurt Russell delivers one of the most iconic performances in action movie history as the eye-patched outlaw, war hero, and all-around badass tasked with the impossible: infiltrating the most dangerous place on Earth—a prison island known as Manhattan—and rescuing the President of the United States before time runs out.

The year is 1997. Crime has exploded. Manhattan has become a walled-off maximum-security hellscape ruled by gangs, murderers, and madmen. When Air Force One crashes inside, the government turns to the only man crazy enough—and tough enough—to get the job done. The catch? Snake has less than 24 hours to succeed before an explosive device implanted in his neck turns him into a cautionary tale.

Featuring an unforgettable supporting cast including Harry Dean Stanton, Lee Van Cleef, Adrienne Barbeau, Ernest Borgnine, Isaac Hayes, and Donald Pleasence, John Carpenter’s sci-fi action landmark remains a pulse-pounding, synth-fueled vision of cinematic cool that has influenced generations of filmmakers, video games, comics, and action heroes.

This isn’t just a movie. It’s a swaggering, explosive, neon-soaked assault on your senses.
