THE TWO BIGGEST ICONS OF THE SLASHER GENRE FINALLY MEET IN “FREDDY VS. JASON” IN A FRIGHTENING SHOWDOWN IN HELL ON FRIDAY THE 13TH!

The slicer versus the slasher? Two titans of terror going at it mano-a-machete? They’re gonna kill each other a lot! Join Popcorn Frights as we slash the 11th installment in the FRIDAY THE 13TH franchise, FREDDY VS. JASON, a crossover with the NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET franchise, on Friday the 13th! The horror (and wicked fun) begins when Jason is rebooted by Freddy Krueger in order to wreak havoc on a small town in Ohio whose residents — including Destiny’s Child’s Kelly Rowland — have forgotten how to be scared of him. Presto, the fear is back — and so is Freddy!

Banished to hell for eternity, Freddy Krueger (Robert Englund) devises a plan to manipulate Jason into continuing his work, hacking up the teenagers of Elm Street. All goes well at first until Jason realizes he’s been duped by “the dream master” and is none too pleased. Coaxed by surviving teenagers Will (Jason Ritter), Lori (Monica Keena), and Kia (Destinys Child’s Kelly Rowland), Jason and Freddy descend up Crystal Lake for a battle royale!
