Head Like a Hole

DATE: Saturday, August 9
TIME: Video On Demand
VENUE: Digital Screening Room

In the throes of financial ruin, a man accepts a strange, high-paying job with one task: move into a suburban home and measure a hole in the basement wall to determine whether it’s growing. Trapped beneath flickering lights and oppressive silence, he logs his observations and adheres to bizarre protocols laid out by his unsettling boss, who insists the work is vital—even noble.

At first, it’s mind-numbingly dull. But as days bleed into nights, and the rules become more invasive, his grip on reality begins to slip. Is the hole actually changing, or is something far more monstrous at play—something watching, waiting, hungering? With its bleak humor and existential bite, HEAD LIKE A HOLE stares into the abyss—and dares it to blink.
