Heretic

DATE: Wednesday, October 30
TIME: 7:00PM
VENUE: AMC Aventura

Deliciously dark and frequently hilarious, HERETIC is the highly anticipated new chamber horror from Popcorn Frights alums Scott Beck & Bryan Woods (the celebrated scenarists behind A Quiet Place and directors of Haunt) stars Hugh Grant in a brilliantly against-type performance.

This fiendishly irreverent tale of battling convictions follows two young missionaries (Sophie Thatcher and Chloe East) who are forced to prove their faith when they knock on the wrong door and are greeted by a diabolical Mr. Reed, becoming ensnared in his deadly game of cat-and-mouse.

Half the fun of HERETIC is waiting to see where it leads you next. Beck & Woods take the familiar and turn it on its head, while their characters ask serious questions about the role of faith and piety in a world rendered incomprehensible by chaos and violence. It’s a chilling, provocative thrill ride, and it showcases Grant’s immense talents.

Please note registering does not guarantee you an RSVP. Popcorn Frights will contact all winners, who will subsequently receive tickets to the special event.
