Like a nightmare, director Flavio Pedota takes shreds of contemporary reality and turns it into something new, something with a broad streak of social satire that captures the turbulent air befalling Venezuela today out on our front pages: the deaths, the destruction, the secrets tragedies people have taken to their grave. These crazed, flesh-eating horde breakdown and up-end the natural order of society into an endless war, endless threat, and endless fear that serves as a timeless warning.
