Nightmare Beach

DATE: Tuesday, August 12
TIME: 8:30PM
VENUE: Fort Lauderdale Beach

THIS SUMMER, EXPERIENCE THE MADNESS WHERE IT ALL BEGAN—ON THE VERY BEACH WHERE “NIGHTMARE BEACH” WAS FILMED! JOIN POPCORN FRIGHTS FOR AN OUTDOOR SCREENING AT FORT LAUDERDALE BEACH WITH SAND BETWEEN YOUR TOES AND TERROR IN THE AIR!

From the maestro of mayhem Umberto Lenzi (CANNIBAL FEROX) comes a sun-drenched slice of slasher insanity—NIGHTMARE BEACH!

It’s Spring Break in Fort Lauderdale, and the party is raging—until the bodies start piling up. One year after the execution of Diablo, the ruthless leader of a violent biker gang, a black-leather-clad killer on a motorcycle is shocking revelers—literally—using high-voltage terror to turn beachgoers into burnt toast. Has Diablo returned from the grave to seek vengeance? Or is someone else behind the helmet?

Starring cult icons John Saxon (A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET) and Michael Parks (KILL BILL), and featuring a pulse-pounding score by Goblin’s Claudio Simonetti (SUSPIRIA), this gore-soaked thrill ride is a neon-drenched grindhouse gem where the sand runs red with blood.

Location: The meeting point is Lifeguard Station 15 on Fort Lauderdale Beach, located directly across Fort Lauderdale Beach Boulevard (A1A) from Hugh Taylor Birch State Park, near the park’s entrance at 3109 E Sunrise Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304.

This special event is made possible with the support of the Wilton Manors Horror Hunks, Scream Queens, and Occult Non-Conforming.
