IT IS EVIL… AND IT HAS AWAKENED! From the legendary mind of master of horror John Carpenter comes PRINCE OF DARKNESS, a chilling descent into cosmic terror and mayhem presented louder and more terrifying than ever before in a new 4K restoration.

When a group of research students and scientists investigate a mysterious canister hidden deep within a crumbling Los Angeles church, they unwittingly unleash an ancient force of pure evil. What begins as a scientific study quickly spirals into apocalyptic horror as the team is besieged by zombified colleagues, time-bending visions, and a growing realization that they may be humanity’s last hope against a force older than time itself.

A brooding blend of Lovecraftian dread, theological mystery, and ’80s paranoia, PRINCE OF DARKNESS is one of Carpenter’s most ambitious and underrated masterpieces. With Donald Pleasence wielding a fire axe, Alice Cooper stalking the shadows as a homicidal vagrant, and a score that pulses like the end of days, this is a film that confronts the thin line between science and the supernatural—and obliterates it.
