“A parent is capable of unimaginable things.” A year after her son vanishes without a trace in the remote Scottish Highlands, a grieving mother returns to the wilderness that stole him, refusing to let the mystery die.

Driven by equal parts love and obsession, she descends into an unforgiving landscape where every step brings her closer to the truth—and deeper into unimaginable danger. As the line between hunter and hunted begins to blur, her desperate search for answers erupts into a brutal fight for survival against a nightmare she never saw coming.
