In a hidden enclave in the French Pyrenees called The Zone, people seek magic and enlightenment in an escape from Western civilization. Drawn by whispers of the Holy Grail and a promise of spiritual renewal, a cast of seekers—witches, chaos magicians, and soul-searchers—gather to escape the modern world and reinvent themselves where anything seems possible.

Among them is Richard Stanley, a once-revered Hollywood director turned self-proclaimed prophet. But as his cult-like influence grows, long-buried allegations of abuse resurface, fracturing the fragile trust of this utopian experiment. Is Stanley a visionary shaman or a master manipulator exploiting the faithful?

What begins as a dreamy exploration of alternative spirituality soon spirals into a gripping reckoning with power, belief, and the perilous allure of charismatic leaders. With breathtaking cinematography and intimate access, SHADOWLAND unravels a mesmerizing tale of transformation, deception, and the dark undercurrents of blind devotion.
