Even in the midst of a seemingly blissful relationship, Maeve and Bridget are on the verge of falling apart. Bridget’s family embraces their love, but Maeve’s family has turned their backs. This neglect drives Maeve into a deepening spiral of depression and anxiety as the school semester draws to a close. Desperate to lift Maeve’s spirits and celebrate their anniversary, Bridget takes her away to a secluded rental home in the countryside. There, Maeve stumbles upon a mysterious sigil carved into a tree just beyond the property. Unwittingly, she makes a wish before the sigil, longing for the love and acceptance she’s always yearned for from her family. However, this wish comes with a sinister price: it demands the sacrifice of the one person who loves her the most.
