There will never be another William Friedkin. We adored him for his movies and the unbending stubbornness with which he made them, for his unwillingness to deal with bullshit, and especially for having a heart in a heartless industry. A legend doesn’t even begin to cut it. He was untouchable, unrepentant, and unrelenting. A sorcerer of cinema who constantly reinvented himself over and over again, over six decades. He never left anything on the field.

As previously demonstrated in films like THE EXORCIST and THE FRENCH CONNECTION, William Friedkin wields terror like a rod of supernatural lightning, especially in his most visually epic feature SORCERER which hums along on the incredible strains of a mesmerizing electronic score by Tangerine Dream. As a big screen experience, SORCERER ranks among the undeniably intense – a sensory shredding of the nerves that leaves no audience fully sane with its almost supernatural force of cosmic nihilism. See it in a dynamite 4K restoration personally supervised by William Friedkin!

SORCERER is a cinematic gift from William Friedkin to all of us who love movies. Friedkin forever!
