POPCORN FRIGHTS LOADS THE CHAMBER WITH A DOUBLE-BARREL SCORSESE–DE NIRO EXPERIENCE FEATURING TAXI DRIVER FOR ITS 50TH ANNIVERSARY IN A 4K RESTORATION ON FRIDAY, MAY 8, AND CAPE FEAR FOR ITS 35TH ANNIVERSARY ON SATURDAY, MAY 9. TWO NIGHTS. TWO LEGENDS. ONE SCREEN.

In the Cannes award-winning, Academy Award-nominated TAXI DRIVER, Martin Scorsese drags you straight into the neon-soaked hell of 1970s New York, placing you inside the mind of Travis Bickle (a revelatory Robert De Niro), a loner, drifting through a city he despises. A ghost behind the wheel. A mind circling obsession. A fuse burning in silence. Every sleepless night, every missed connection, every humiliation pushes him closer to the edge—until the line between salvation and destruction vanishes entirely.

From the ferocious, painfully poetic script by Paul Schrader to the all-star ensemble of emerging talent Jodie Foster and Harvey Keitel, this isn’t just a film—it’s a descent. A fever dream. A ticking clock. A gut punch that still lands with terrifying force five decades later. It’s unmissable cinema detonating on the big screen.
