It’s the summer of 1982 in small-town Oregon, and buzz is in the air—Hollywood is hosting a top-secret test screening of a mysterious new blockbuster. Could it be the next STAR WARS? A fresh Spielberg? Or maybe a John Carpenter masterpiece? Four lifelong friends eagerly file into the local cinema… only to discover the movie isn’t fiction—it’s a government mind-control experiment with horrifying, reality-shattering consequences.

A love letter to the golden age of genre filmmaking, this twisted throwback blends the practical effects of THE THING with the grotesque body horror of SOCIETY, all wrapped in the nostalgic glow of a STRANGER THINGS universe. With jaw-dropping, flesh-ripping, mind-enhancing practical effects and a wickedly fun concept, it’s a sci-fi-horror thrill ride that’s as inventive as it is unforgettable.
