DATE: Friday, August 9
TIME: 11:00PM
VENUE: Savor Cinema Fort Lauderdale

REDISCOVER THE MANIAC INSIDE YOU AT POPCORN FRIGHTS’ BIG SLEAZE DOUBLE-BILL PRESENTING WILLIAM LUSTIG’S “MANIAC” AND ADAM RIFKIN’S “THE INVISIBLE MANIAC,” WITH BOTH DIRECTORS SCHEDULED TO ATTEND AND INTRODUCE THEIR FILMS!

With its tongue planted firmly in its cheek (among other places) Adam Rifkin’s (CHILLERAMA, DETROIT ROCK CITY) send-up of 1950’s “mad scientist” flicks answers the question mankind has asked for… who knows… MILLIONS OF YEARS. How to get away with the murder of your friends and co-workers while also spying on girls in locker-room-eqsque scenarios without getting caught. It’s all here! For you! YOU’RE WELCOME!

Physicist Kevin Dornwinkle (Noel Peters) didn’t like it when his colleagues laughed off his theories on invisibility… so he killed four of them. Escaping the asylum and finagling a job as a high school science teacher, he’s still hearing the snickers from his nubile young charges… but they’ve got a surprise waiting for them in the locker room.
