Grief takes monstrous form in this haunting, skin-crawling descent into sorrow and madness. When his wife dies suddenly, a young father (Benedict Cumberbatch) is left reeling, struggling to raise his two sons while drowning in despair. Desperate to cope, he retreats into his work as a graphic novelist—until one of his creations claws its way off the page.

That creation is Crow (voiced with unsettling menace by David Thewlis), a hulking, man-like bird that stalks the family’s apartment with dark intent. Is it a figment of grief, or something more sinister? As the lines between imagination and reality blur, father and sons are forced to confront the raw chaos of loss—guided, tormented, and transformed by the monstrous figure in their midst.

With striking visual flair and unflinching emotional force, THE THING WITH FEATHERS presents a chilling yet deeply human tale of pain, madness, and redemption—where horror is not an escape from grief, but its truest shape.
