Wild At Heart

DATE: Friday, May 19
TIME: 10:00PM
VENUE: Gateway Theater Fort Lauderdale

A red-hot, full-throttle love odyssey from David Lynch blends together southern gothic creepiness, The Wizard of Oz, surreal kinky violence, Elvis, and Cage rage in the nightmare soap opera thrill ride WILD AT HEART presented on the big screen for one-night-only on Friday, May 19 at 10pm at the Classic Gateway Theatre.

David Lynch’s WILD AT HEART follows outlaw lovers Sailor (Nicolas Cage) and Lula (Laura Dern) as they go on the run through a menacing Deep South populated by the usual stable of unsettling Lynchian weirdos, including an almost-simian Willem Dafoe. Funny, scary, and brilliantly cinematic, Lynch received the Palme d’Or at Cannes amid “the most violent chorus of boos and hisses to be heard in a decade.” Strap in!
